| Partagas was founded in the mid-19th century in Cuba and the original factory in Havana still manufactures an extensive range of these well known superior cigars. More recently, Partagas cigars have also been handmade in the Dominican Republic by the General Cigar Company. The two countries of origin can be recognized by the bands: the Dominican band is inscribed "Partagas 1845" the Cuban has "Habana". |
